England - Dover to London

Dover Castle looks picture-perfect by day but by night it looks magical with all the lights shining on it. Due to its position overlooking the English Channel it has played a significant defensive role since the 11th century. Its medieval walls and towers are new compared to the structure that would have been here in Roman times.
